Sab’s Christening Party at Max’s Restaurant

I don’t usually visit to SM Lanang Premier because it is way too far from our place considering the distance plus the traffic. I only go there if I have blogging events to attend or when really necessary like checking out some items that I couldn’t find in any other stores. So when I was invited to attend Sab’s Christening Party at Max’s Restaurant, I was having second thoughts at first but then I realized it was such an important event that’s hard to pass up. It’s going to be a Christening and a mini-reunion at the same time so I geared up to attend the event despite my reservations.

I was excited with the idea of seeing Sab (for the first time) and her parents after so many years. Both parents are my former co-workers but I consider Marz Raine (Sab’s Mom) as one of my close friends since we became godmothers to Bobby’s child years ago. Sir Jaylord (Sab’s Dad) is one of the persons that I admired the most at work because of his integrity and fast action and resolution to many of my concerns at work before.

The christening was schedule on October 10, 2013 around lunch time. I wasn’t able to attend the church ceremony at Sacred Heart Parish. After my commitment that morning, I went directly to the reception at Max’s Restaurant in SM Lanang Premier.

It was such a memorable party with family and friends around. The couple decided to celebrate Sab’s christening at Max’s because they were very satisfied with Max’s food and service during their wedding. Max’s Christening Package is already complete that they won’t think of anything else but to have fun with family and friends.

Scrumptious food were then served after a short program hosted by a Max’s crew.

Max’s Fried Chicken, Pancit Canton, Cream Dory Fish Fillet in Black Bean Sauce and Buko Pandan were some of the few food photos I have taken during the party. There were Lumpia, Menudo, Chopsuey, and many others but didn’t get the chance to capture them all because they are too yummy to wait  and I was already too hungry that I can’t focus. Lol!

Sab’s wonderfully – designed Christening cake and giveaways. These are all included in the party package as well.

I am so happy  to see former co-workers Ate Jo and husband Kuya Joel as well as my loyal ally Kuya Temmy. We obviously  enjoyed our food and very delighted to receive the giveaway too! Feels like we are kids again. Hehehe.

Another exciting part of the celebration was when the Max’s staff and crew throw a surprise birthday greetings to Sir Jay who are celebrating his natal day. They sang a birthday song to him together with a Max’s “customized birthday cake“. That is what you get for having such a sneaky but thoughtful wife, Sir Jay! 😉

A posterity photo of Sir Jay and family together with the friendly managers and crew of Max’s SM Lanang Premier.  The couple was more than satisfied with the turned out of the whole celebration. As always, Max’s delivered what is expected of them and more! Thank you for making Sab’s christening a memorable one, Max’s!
